 Nepal Dairy Association (NDA) has said the milk vans have not been able to operate although the government has not prevented the operation of vehicles carrying essentials during the lockdown period.

 One more Nepali has died due to coronavirus here in Britain. He is 49-year-old Bijaya Gurung. He died while under treatment at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, according to Nanda Gurung, president of Redding Tamu Society.

Lightning has claimed the life of a woman at Todke, Dudhilabhati of Galkot municipality-1 in Baglung district. The deceased is 60-year-old Bijuli Khatree.

WOREC records 83 VAW cases during lockdown, most related to domestic violence

According to the Women Rehabilitation Center (WOREC), it has recorded 83 cases of violence against women and girls from 13 districts through its three hotlines and 28 psycho-social councilors in the period of lockdown which has been in force since March 24.
