South Korea to provide relief to Nepalis as well  

 A province government of South Korea has decided to provide relief that it had been giving to its citizens to the foreign nationals as well after they started feeling the pang of the coronavirus pandemic in their daily living.    

RDT for coronavirus carried out on 85 people on road 

Rapid diagnostic test (RDT) for coronavirus has been carried out on 85 people entering Kanchanpur from outside districts. The health desk at Gajaraula, Krishnapur municipality-6 carried out the test on these people on the road. All people have tested negative for COVID-19.    

Twenty eight people infected with COVID-19 in State-1   

The number of people with coronavirus infection has reached to 28 in State-1.     Among those testing positive for COVID-19 are 16 Nepalis and 12 Indian nationals, the Information Desk set up at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers here stated.   

Farmers facing shortage of seeds and fertilisers 

The farmers here have not been able to carry out farming activities with the extension of the lockdown. The government has announced the lockdown since March 24 to prevent COVID-19.   

NC central committee meeting on April 29

The meeting to be held at the party's central office in Sanepa will discuss contemporary political issues including the ordinances introduced by the government and its efforts to prevent and control COVID-19 in the country.

Govt serious to address all health problems: Minister Dhakal 

Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal said the government was working seriously to control the spread of coronavirus and solve all other health problems.  

Udaypur faces shortage of medical equipment to increase COVID-19 test  

There is a shortage of medical equipment to expand the coronavirus testing in Bhulke and Triyuga of Triyuga municipality-3 in Udaypur district. It may be noted that Bhulke and Triyuga reported the 24 cases of COVID-19, out of 41 cases confirmed so far across the country, portending the greater risk of the spread of virus there. 

Crime accused tested positive for coronavirus in RDT 

A crime accused brought for the rapid diagnostic test (RDT) before sending to detention has been tested positive to coronavirus. The 48-year-old person arrested for his alleged involvement in brutal attack on Sogbir Ram from Dakaneshwori municipality-4 in the district was found positive in the RTD conducted at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital.

The historic Kantibhairav festival of Gokarneshwor has been halted this time owing to lockdown against the global pandemic of coronavirus.    

71st anniversary of NCP founding: Chair Prachanda calls for party unity, defeating reactionary conspiracy

Nepal Communist Party (NCP) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said it is the historic responsibility of the NCP to prepare the basis of socialism by respecting the public mandate and aspirations while defeating the reactionary conspiracy.     Chairman Dahal said this in a statement he issued today on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of NCP's founding.
