36 COVID-19 patients recovered so far

One more patient of COVID-19 recovered on Friday and returned home from the hospital, the Health and Population Ministry’s official said in a regular press briefing this afternoon.

Transport of vegetables and fruits from outside banned in Sindhupalchowk  

Import of vegetables and fruits from beyond Sindhupalchowk district has been banned in view of increasing risks of COVID-19.      A meeting of the COVID-19 Disaster Management Centre prohibited the transport of vegetables and fruits from outside district citing security threats stemming from COVID-19 outbreak.    

NAC operating three chartered flights to Japan

The national flag-carrier, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), is operating a chartered flight to Narita International Airport of Japan today. The flight would be made by NAC's A-330 wide-body plane. The plane will fly to Japan carrying some Japanese citizens stranded in Nepal due to the lockdown and the Nepali workers and students who had come home on holiday.

Man killed in truck accident  

A person died in a road accident at Chochedanda of Lisankhupakhar rural municipality-1 in Sindhupalchok district on Thursday. The deceased is 38-year-old Krishnabir Tamang of Chochedanda.
