CM Employment Programme at Local Level 

The Chief Minister Employment Programme has come into effect in all the eight local levels of Jumla. Every local level including one municipality and seven rural municipalities have received a budget of Rs. 6.4 million each for the programme.

New guideline issued for coronavirus test in Sudurpaschim State 

The Health Directorate of Sudurpaschim State has stipulated a new guideline for coronavirus test. The guideline has stipulated that those who stayed in quarantine for 14 days and did not develop any symptoms of coronavirus could return home.

A decision of three youths in Pokhara to seek a future in vegetable farming is turning out to be a right one.     The common dream of three youths: two former migrants of Pokhara metropolis-15 of doing something at home has brought them together to start a vegetable farming by taking land on lease. The three invested Rs three million to start the farming which also includes the off-season produces in 14 ropani of land.  

     75-bed quarantine facility to be managed in Kavrepalanchok for foreign returnees  

The district level crisis management centre will manage a 75-bed quarantine facility at Dhulikhel campus in Dhulikhel municipality-7.    

Tanahu's local levels to finance on their own to have COVID-19 laboratory in district

Tanahu-based local governments are carrying forward the process for the procurement of PCR equipment for coronavirus test on their own. The local levels have decided to obtain the equipment internally in response to a marked delay in the COVID-19 testing on those staying in coronavirus quarantine centers.

'Lockdown COVID-19 Online Video Poomsae Championships' are set to take place from June 21. The International Open Friendship Taekwondo Championships (IOFTC) headquartered in Poland will organise the competition in two phases online when the global pandemic has affected world sports, said IOFTC's founder and competition's director Diwakar Maharjan.

  Doti's first coronavirus infected returns home after recovery  

The first coronavirus infected person from Doti district has been discharged from the hospital after recovery.     A 25-year-old youth from Shikhar municipality-3, who had returned home district from India, was discharged on Thursday from the isolation ward of the Doti District Hospital after 15 days, according to the hospital.
