Fire in Surya Binayak Cow Farm kills livestock 

At least four cows including two calves and hens of various breed died after a fire broke out at a cow farm owned by a local at Dadhikot at Suryabinayak Municipality-4 in Bhaktapur district on Tuesday night.

472 children below five in quarantines   

As many as 472 children below five are staying in quarantines set up by all nine local levels of the district. All these children have returned home from different parts of India along with their parents and stayed in quarantines.  

Landslide buries two to death   

Landslide killed two persons at Raghuganga rural municipality-6, Rayakhor in Myagdi last night.     The District Police Office Myagdi confirmed that fifty-year-old Hamaya Sherpunja and four-year-old Siman Chhantyal lost their lives after being buried in the landslide.    

   COVID-19 infected tally touches 145 in Gandaki State 

Number of people testing positive for coronavirus has reached 145 in Gandaki State.     According to a press statement issued by State Health Directorate Pokhara this morning, a person was confirmed to have contracted coronavirus lately. A 40-year-old male of Devchuli municipality in Nawalparasi (East) who was quarantined in the same place tested positive for the virus, shared director at the directorate Dr Binod Bindu Sharma.    

Eighteen infected recover and return home   

Eighteen persons who tested positive for coronavirus recovered and returned homes after treatment at isolation ward of the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences (KIHS) Teaching Hospital.    

All health service shut after health workers test positive for coronavirus  

All the services of the health facility at Punarbas municipality-5, Tribhuvanbasti in Kanchanpur district have been closed down following confirmation of coronavirus among health workers since Tuesday.
