One buried in landslide  

A man has died after being buried in a landslide at Sangliya of Galyang municipality-9 last night. Yam Bahadur BK,50, died after his house was hit by a landslide, said ward no-9 chairperson Hari Lal Khanal. Seriously injured, BK died on the way to the hospital.  

COVID-19: 29 new cases in State 2  

Altogether 29 new cases of Corona Virus have been confirmed in State no. 2 in past 24 hours. The new cases were detected in Dhanusa, Mahottari and Parsa districts.    

Health insurance of all in three years  

The Gandaki State government is to ensure health insurance coverage to all citizens of the state within the next three years. Accordingly, the State government has allocated Rs. 20 million for the purpose in the Fiscal Year 2020/21 budget.  

  COVID-19: 214 recover in Karnali   

A total of 214 persons have returned home from hospital after recovering from Corona Virus on Saturday. They include 201 men and 13 women. Of them, 205 are from Dailekh.  

COVID-19 patient dies 

A COVID-19 patient who was undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital died today. He was suffering from lung cancer as well.    

COVID-19 response programme launched in Dhangadhi  

The COVID-19 response programme has been launched to further manage quarantine and isolation centres in Dhangadhi Sub Metropolitan City.

RBB branch manager arrested with charges of fraud

He was arrested in connection with the investigation of a case involving gold entrepreneur Rizwan Ahmed Jasgadh, who had taken Rs. 12.5 million loan from the RBB Branch, according to Superintendent of Police of Banke Om Bahadur Rana. 

Three held for alleged robbery of gold, silver   

Police have arrested three people in Banepa on the charge of their involvement in robbing a woman of gold and silver.      The accused allegedly stole gold weighing around 18 tola (one tola is equivalent to 11.66 gms) and silver from the house of one Joshana Shrestha of Banepa municipality-9. The incident happened on Tuesday morning.   

Gandaki: 32 new cases, tally climbs to 838  

Thirty-two new cases of Corona Virus have been confirmed in Gandaki state today. This takes the tally of infected to 838.     According to the Saturday morning bulletin of the State Health Directorate, Pokhara, of the new cases 22 are from Syangja, eight from Baglung and two from Nawalparasi. They include six women.
