Sukilumba airport to operate test flight today   

A test flight is to be carried out at the Sukilumba Airport today. An aircraft of the Nepal Airlines is to make the test flight. The test flight is to be undertaken before launching commercial flights at the newly-constructed Falgunanda Sukilumba Airport at Ilam municipality-9.

House of Representatives to meet on Feb 14

According to a notice issued by the General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat Dr Bharatraj Gautam this evening, the meeting of the House of Representatives scheduled for Wednesday has been scheduled to be held on February 14.

Nepse loses 16.30 points

The Nepse said five sub-categories noticed an increase in the share market while eight others lost. Of the total 13 sub-categories, categories of trade gained by 2.68 points, hotel and tourism by 3.74 points, non-life insurance by 56.22 points, production by 27.54 points and mutual investment fund by 0.08 points.

Ambulance with GPS facility to be operated

Ambulance service installed with GPS is to be operated in Gandaki province. The service is being operated through the financial assistance of the Province Ministry of Health and Population and the technical support of Nepal Red Cross Society by setting up a dispatch centre.

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has recovered Rs 70 million arrears from big taxpayers, who had not paid land, house and property tax for the past 28 years. 

Preparation on to develop model grassland in CNP 

Preparation has been made to develop model grazing land inside Chitwan National Park (CNP). The CNP has presented a proposal at the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation to manage grazing land on 10-15 hectares at five places.
