Mangalbare, Feb 9 : A test flight is to be carried out at the Sukilumba Airport today. An aircraft of the Nepal Airlines is to make the test flight.
The test flight is to be undertaken before launching commercial flights at the newly-constructed Falgunanda Sukilumba Airport at Ilam municipality-9.
Preparations are in full swing to launch the operation of commercial flights at the airport from February 20.
Engineer at Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) Binayak Bhattarai shared that the Nepal Airlines would carry out a test flight at the airport today if the weather is suitable for the same.
There has been no test flight after the blacktopping of the airport runway.
