Ambassador Acharya takes oath

Former Foreign Secretary Acharya, who served as the Permanent Representative of Nepal to the United Nations and also the Deputy Secretary-General of UN, was appointed as the Ambassador by the President on January 28 on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.

CPN (UML) obstructs HoR meeting

'56,908 doses of anti-COVID vaccines wasted'

The committee formed by the government to probe the issue of missing COVID-19 vaccines has submitted its report to the Minister for Health and Population Birodh Khatiwada. It has stated that only 56,908 jabs of anti-COVID vaccines have gone wasted during the vaccination drive.
