44 lepers found in six months in Banke   

Forty-four new cases of leprosy have been found in the six months of this fiscal year in Banke district. Leprosy resource person at Public Health Office Manab Nepali informed that they were found at eight local levels in the district.  

18,115 more voters in Kalikot  

Kalikot district has recorded 18,115 more voters in the latest update. The District Election Office here informed that it totaled the voters for the coming May 13 local level election at 83,076.    

New academic session from mid April: Education Minister   

Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel has said the new academic session in schools will begin from Baisakh (mid April), while the regular class starts from Jestha 1 (May 15).    

Two electrocuted  

Two persons from the same family died with short circuit at Tinau Rural Municipality of Palpa district on Thursday evening. Suraj Sunar, 20, and his brother Rakesh Sunar, 14, were electrocuted while fishing at Tinau-2.
