Kathmandum Feb. 15: CPN (Maoist Centre) has called its parliamentary party meeting on Wednesday morning so as to make its presence more effective in the House of Representatives (HoR).
The ruling coalition partner has summoned the meeting at 10 am, according to the party chief whip Dev Prakash Gurung. The meeting will convene at party's office in Singha Durbar.
The HoR is also slated to convene at 1 am on the same day, informed Gurung. The meeting aims to brief its parliamentarians on the contemporary political issues.
Meanwhile, the incumbent government is preparing to present the proposal seeking endorsement of the agreement with the American grant assistance- Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC)-in the upcoming HoR's meeting.
