Nepalis in South Korea provide financial assistance to Bhagirathi's family   

Sudurpaschim Samaj based in South Korea has provided financial support to the family of Bhagirathi Bhatta of Baitadi. The organisation collected Rs 283,500 to assist the Bhatta family.     Bhatta of Dogadakedar Rural Municipality was murdered after her rape almost a month ago.    

Organic farming system in far-west 

In a bid to reduce the excessive use of chemical fertiliser in farming system, organic farming is being implemented in the districts of Sudurpaschim Province. This move is aimed reducing the impacts of chemical fertilisers through the promotion of organic farming system.    

Dr Rawal named as Acting Vice-Chancellor of KAHS   

The government has designated Dr Mangal Rawal as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Karnali Academy of Health Sciences. The Ministry of Health and Population gave such responsibility to the hospital's director Dr Rawal.    

PM Oli cannot resign constitutionally: Minister Gurung

At a press conference organised at the Ministry on Monday to make the cabinet decisions public, Minister Gurung argued that the Supreme Court's decision of reinstating the House of Representatives itself could not allow Prime Minister Oli to resign constitutionally.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said development endevours were taking place from all 753 local levels. Laying a foundation stone for the Gandaki Province Staff College building today at Nadipur of Pokhara metropolis-3, the Prime Minister said the federal government had set a course for development through seven province governments and the province governments through 753 local levels.

Agitating Sinohydro Company workers in Tanahu have been convinced to withdraw a strike and get back to work from today. The dispute between the company management and workers has come to an end with the signing of a bilateral agreement.
