Karnali, March 2 : The government has designated Dr Mangal Rawal as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Karnali Academy of Health Sciences. The Ministry of Health and Population gave such responsibility to the hospital's director Dr Rawal.
The post of Academy's Vice-Chancellor was laying vacant after the tenure of Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Rajendra Wagle ended recently.
Academy's Pro-Chancellor and Minister for Health and Population Hridayesh Tripathi provided Dr Rawal with the responsibility on Monday. Associate Professor Rawal is an orthopedist.
Dr Rawal, a permanent resident of Humla district, was serving as the Director of Karnali Academy of Health Sciences hospital for one and a half years.
