Ilam, March 1: A border outpost (BOP) of Armed Police Force has been set up at Manebhanjyang in Suryodaya Municipality-1 in Ilam district.
The seventh outpost of the APF across the country is set up under the campaign to increase BOPs across the border in a bid to increase security, said the APF.
Mayor of Suryodaya Municipality Rana Bahadur Rai and Deputy Inspector General, APF Bamshi Raj Dahal jointly inaugurated the BOP amid a function on Saturday.
On the occasion, Mayor Rai stressed the need for managing the BOPs set up across the country.
