Maoist leader Ghartimagar dies of COVID-19  

Lumbini Province Committee Member of CPN (Maoist Centre) Harihara Ghartimagar has died of Coronavirus infection this morning. She succumbed to the virus in Corona Special Hospital at Beljhundi in Dang.  

Rs 15 million collected to set up oxygen plant in Pokhara hospital 

In an attempt to establish oxygen plant in the Pokhara-based Western Regional Hospital, different social organisations and individuals have provided Rs 15 million plus in donation. More than Rs 30 million has been pledged so far for the purpose.

Tourism Board rescuing foreign citizens stranded in various places

The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has been continuing activities to facilitate the related agencies and rescue the foreign tourists stranded in different parts of the country with the enforcement of prohibitory orders to contain coronavirus. The NTB formed a disaster management and communication cell and intensified the works on tourists' rescue.

President issues two ordinance

In a press statement today, Assistant Spokesperson of the Office of the President, Keshav Prasad Ghimire, stated that the President issued the ordinances as per the Article 114 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.
