Rolpa, May 21 : Lumbini Province Committee Member of CPN (Maoist Centre) Harihara Ghartimagar has died of Coronavirus infection this morning. She succumbed to the virus in Corona Special Hospital at Beljhundi in Dang.
A permanent resident of Madi Rural Municipality-5 in Rolpa district, Ghartimagar was also involved in social services through agriculture cooperative and different social organisations.
Prior to this, she was admitted to Rolpa Hospital on May 18 after getting infected with the Coronavirus.
From Rolpa Hospital, she was referred to Corona Special Hospital in Beljhundi where she died while receiving treatment, Maoist Centre leader Man Singh BK confirmed.
With this, a total of 10 persons died in the district of Rolpa with the second wave of COVID-19.
As per the information shared by the District Administration Office, Ropla, the number of active cases in the district is 538.
