Vaccination campaign halted in KMC 

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has stopped the programme of adminstering the vaccines against COVID-19 to people of 60 to 64 years of age.

PM directs to run drinking water projects in Yangri, Larke rivers

Taking update of the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, and Melamchi Drinking Water Project at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar today, PM Oli asked the officials to begin the construction of drinking water projects in the two rivers to supply water to the Kathmandu Valley.

Over 18,000 people in KMC vaccinated against COVID-19 in two days 

So far more than 18,000 people in Kathmandu Metropolitan City have got vaccinated against COVID-19. 

Flood in Baskhet rivulet damages dozen houses   

The flood on the rivulet following heavy rain from Wednesday night damaged the houses. A local, Bhojraj Bhatta, said that the flood on the Baskhet rivulet damaged more than one dozen houses of Adtola and Baita villages.

Five tippers carrying illegally mined aggregates impounded  

Police have impounded five tippers from Golbazaar municipality-9 of Siraha district for carrying illegally extracted sand, pebbles and gravel.

The use of explosive devices in course of the construction of Kailash Manasarobar road section in India has caused damages to the road of Nepal.    

Civil Hospital receives health support worth Rs 11.8 million   

The Minbhawan-based Civil Hospital has received medical assistance worth amounting to Rs 11.8 million. Bagmati Province Assembly member Deependra Shrestha took the initiative to raise support and hand over them to the hospital.
