Helping Hand, USA provides essential health supplies to COVID-19 Temporary Hospital in Siraha  

The 129 medical equipment such as electronic bed, ICU bed, ECG bed among other essential supplies provided by the humanitarian organization in Michigan, the USA was handed over to the Hospital through Golbazar Municipality, said Jeeba Pokharel, Chief of Helping Hand Nepal Chapter.  

Landslide blocks Bhimdatta Highway 

The Bhimdatta Highway has been blocked with the landslide occurred at Gaira of Jorayal Rural Municipality-1 in the district. The landslide was caused by the incessant rainfall occurred since last night.    

Early warning against floods and landslide  

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has alerted all concerned over the possibility in the rise in floods and landslides with the onset of monsoon this year, and thereby remain alert of it. Monsoon that began with its arrival on Friday in Nepal from province no. 1, province no. 2 and Bagmati is now active in Lumbini and Gandaki to spread across the country.     

Siddhartha highway obstructed 

The Siddhartha highway has been obstructed due to landslides triggered by heaving rainfall since yesterday. Landslide that took place at Bhalu pahad in Fedikhola rural municipality-2 of Syangja this morning has obstructed the highway, according to the District Police Office, Syangja.    

One killed, three injured in road accident 

One person was killed while three others were seriously injured in a road accident that took place at Pokharidanda in Tapling rural municipality-4. The accident involving a passenger jeep took place on Saturday evening, according to District Police Office, Udayapur.    

Congress central committee to meet Thursday
