Home Ministry directs DAOs to move ahead in order to make country’s economic activities dynamic  

The Home Ministry has directed District Administration Offices (DAOs) and security officials of 77 districts to move ahead with an action plan in order to make the country’s economic activities, affected due to the COVID-19, dynamic.

Labours in fast track construction unpaid for one year

Woman rescued by helicopter for post-partum complications  

A woman who was suffering profuse bleeding after delivering a child was airlifted to Kathmandu by a Nepal Army helicopter.   

Three minors taken under control for manhandling doctors 

Police have arrested three persons on the charge of manhandling two doctors and a practitioner at Province Ayurveda Hospital, Karnali. They were arrested on Thursday evening from Kalagaun.    

Tamu Society UK provides Rs 1.125 million in aid of COVID-19 patients  

The Tamu Society UK has provided Rs 1.125 million in support of the COVID-19 affected people in Nepal. The philanthropic organisation supported the National Innovation Centre set up by Mahabir Pun. It provided Rs 525 thousand to the Centre.

Absconding rhino poacher arrested   

The Chitwan National Park (CNP) has arrested a person involved in rhino poaching and smuggling wildlife parts. CNP's Wildlife Poaching Control Unit held Khadka Bahadur Gurung alias Soma and Min Bahadur Gurung from Gaindakot.
