Chitwan, June 10: A rhino horn has been found at Kalika Municipality in eastern Chitwan.
Division Forest Office Chitwan's information officer Balkrishna Khanal said the locals informed the Office about the finding of the rhino horn this morning at the Chaturmukhi community forest located at the Municipality's ward number 1. The horn is 8.5 inches long and weighs 445 grammes.
The wildlife part has been brought safely to the Forest Office. It will be sent to the Chitwan National Park today itself. The Office suspects that the rhino horn might have broken and dropped when two rhinos had been fighting.
