The Area Administration Office, Sarkegad established to provide service to four rural municipalities in Humla district has officially started providing service after six years. The Office aims to provide service to Sarkegad, Changkheli, Adanchuli and Tajkot rural municipalities.   

Construction of dams, tunnel way of Gharkhola hydropower project almost completes   

Construction of dams and a tunnel way belonging to the Gharkhola hydropower project has reached its final stage. Ninety five construction of the dams and tunnel way of the 14 megawatts project has been completed so far, said the project promoter, Myagdi Hydropower Limited. 

Over 150 houses in Bajura at risk of dry landslide   

A dry landslide has continued to fall at Swamikartik Rural Municipality-1 at east northern belt in Bajura district, putting over 150 houses at risk of being washed away. The landslip at the lower part of Runi village and near Chhuddari village has caused risks of the Karnali river being blocked, said the local residents.    

COVID-19: Makawanpur administration office to offer service alternatively 

The District Administration Office, Makawanpur will offer service alternatively in view of increasing COVID-19 cases, said the administration. Service relating to an application for duplicate citizenship and passport will be offered until August 20. Likewise, one can apply for new citizenship certificate from August 23 to 28.
