Crowded govt offices to open only three days a week   

As corona virus infection continues to rise in the last few weeks, the two offices in Kavrepalanchok, which are crowded with service recipients, will provide their services only three days a week starting today. The District Administration Office and District Land Revenue Office have stated that services will now be provided only on specific three days in a week from today. 

Funds being raised for treatment of nine-month-old Usman   

Funds are being raised for the treatment of Mohammad Usman Ali, a nine-month-old boy suffering from a rare disease called spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). The victim's family has appealed for financial help as the treatment is very expensive.    

Noted rice expert Basnet no more

Senior rice expert Bholaman Singh Basnet passed away today at the age of 71. He was being treated for COVID-19 infection at the Om Hospital and Research Center.

Existing scenario suggests need of monitoring of soft loan for agriculture

Monsoon to remain active for one week more 

The monsoon is to remain active throughout the country next week. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said the monsoon will become active this coming week as well since the monsoon low-pressure system is close to the Tarai region.

COVID-19 vaccination in long interval of first dose still effective: MoHP

Fire at Bharatpur Airport under control

A fire broke out at the VIP room of the Bharatpur Airport office at 6:45 am this morning. The fire is said to have been caused due to a short circuit, according to the airport authorities.
