Bagmati, Aug 16 : The District Administration Office, Makawanpur will offer service alternatively in view of increasing COVID-19 cases, said the administration. Service relating to an application for duplicate citizenship and passport will be offered until August 20. Likewise, one can apply for new citizenship certificate from August 23 to 28.
However, necessary service relating to peace and security, cases and disaster management will be delivered continuously, said Chief District Officer Bharat Mani Pandey.
Similarly, the district land revenue office and survey office have been closed for one week over the infection, he said.
Meanwhile, a district COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre meeting has decided to tighten the prohibition order. Groceries will remain open until 10 am and other business from 10 am to 5 pm.
Bank and financial institution will remain open from 10 am to 2 pm. Similarly, the meeting decided to strictly implement the facemask campaign. Stepping out of home without a facemask faces action.
