HoR meeting postponed   

The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR), the lower House of the Federal Parliament, scheduled for today has been postponed. The meeting was scheduled to be held at 1 pm today and it has been postponed till January 6, the Parliament Secretariat has stated.    

Expecting mother airlifted   

Bhimadevi Rai, 26, of Dikuwa in Halesi Tuvachung Municipality-2 was airlifted on Saturday after she could not give birth at a health post in Dikuwa. The health post immediately referred her to Kathmandu after observing complications in the child birth. 

90 per cent children in Humla vaccinated   

Ninety percent of children in Humla have received the moderna vaccine against Corona Virus. In collaboration with the health office, all the seven local levels have completed the work of vaccinating the school children.    

Water birds census begins in Shuklaphanta National Park 

Water bird census has been started from Saturday in Shuklaphanta National Park and other areas. Water bird census has been started in the lakes and rivers inside and outside the park. The counting will continue till January 16.    

Students being vaccinated at school   

The Jorayal rural municipality of the district has started vaccinating students against corona virus at the school itself. The vaccination has started for the students in the age group of 12 to 17 studying in all the schools in the municipality, said ANM at the Area Health Office, Gadsera Bidya Bhandari.
