1,319 cases of Violence Against Women recorded in last Fiscal Year

As many as 1,319 cases of Violence against Women (VAW) were recorded in Nepal last fiscal year, according to a documentation unveiled by WOREC.

Two arrested with narcotics

Police arrested two youths along with 2.5 kilogrammes of hashish here on Monday. They were arrested from Dhaulapahira of local Bhume rural municipality in east Rukum.     Those arrested in this connection are 27-year-old Tara Roka of Kyangsi, Bhume rural municipality-3 and 16-year-old Tilak Pun Magar of Ward number 6 of the same rural municipality.
