NPC wins Kathmandu Mayor Cup Cricket title 

Nepal Police Club (NPC) has won the title of Kathmandu Mayor Cup one-day cricket tournament.  In a final match played at Kirtipur-based Cricket Stadium today, NPC defeated APF club of the Armed Police Force by eight wickets. With the title, NPC has bagged an award of Rs 500,000.

NAFA reaches agreement with Shahid Gangalal hospital  

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has reached an agreement with Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre to conduct health checkups of its football players.      Following the agreement that was signed by ANFA President Karma Tsering Sherpa and the Centre's executive director Chandra Mani Adhikari, 20 national football players who have undergone a closed training session have got heart tests, said the ANFA.

Rajan Rokaya of the Nepali Army has clinched the title of the 15th edition of the Safal Pokhara International Marathon Championship. The marathon competition was organised in Pokhara today. It was organized by the Former sports Persons Forum.

CAN selects 32 players for series match with Oman and USA  

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has selected 32 players for the first round of the series championship with USA and Oman. Of the total selected players, Bibek Yadav, Harishankar Shah, Anuj Chanara, Khadga Bahadur Bohora and Arjun Kumal are selected for the first time. Now they are in close session training.    

Ward 15 wins first ward-level futsal tournament  

Ward no. 15 has won the first Chandragiri municipality ward level futsal tournament 2077. In the final match of the tournament, ward no. 15 defeated ward no. 14 by 3-1 on Saturday.     Along with the win, ward no. 15 won the winner's trophy including Rs. 75,000 in cash. Likewise ward no. 14 won Rs. 40,000 and the runners-up trophy.
