Kathmandu, Feb 5 : Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has selected 32 players for the first round of the series championship with USA and Oman. Of the total selected players, Bibek Yadav, Harishankar Shah, Anuj Chanara, Khadga Bahadur Bohora and Arjun Kumal are selected for the first time. Now they are in close session training.
Similarly, after a long time, Ram Naresh Giri, Prithu Baskota, Krishna Karki and Saurav Khanal are also selected for closed training. Nepal is scheduled to play one-day triangular series match with Oman. The match between Nepal and Oman will be held from March 19 to March 28. Nepal will compete with Oman and USA in the series.
According to CAN, other selected players for closed training are Bikram Sob, Rajesh Pulami, Rohit Poudel, Sushan Bhari, Sahab Alam, Sandeep Jora, Kamal Singh Airi, Ashif Sheikh, Sunil Dhamala, Kushal Bhurtel, Lalita Narayan Rajbanshi, Krishna Karki, Pawan Sarraf, Sharad Bheswakar, Abhinash Bohora, Arif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Airi, Sompal Kami, Kushal Malla, Karan KC, Sandeep Lamichhane, Binod Bhandari, Parash Khadka and Gyanendra Malla.
The closed session training will begin in Saturday.
