Karnali highway obstructed since a week

The Karnali highway remains obstructed due to floods and landslides since the past one week. Heavy rainfall-triggered floods and landslides have obstructed the highway in several locations.    

Prohibitory order issued in Banke 

The local administration has imposed a prohibitory order to be effective for the next three days in the district. The decision was taken after 30 people were found infected in a single day during a test of people carried out in government offices and in the communities.    

35 families of Bhurke displaced   

Thirty-five households of Bhurke rural municipality-2 have been displaced as a result of landslide. Landslide on the top and well as below the village forced the residents of the village to leave their home for safety, police said.    

Jaleswar shut down for five days

A decision to this end was taken by the District Natural Disaster Management Committee. The order came into effect from 11:00 pm last night will remain in effect for the next five days.    

Youth arrested for creating fake facebook ID

The cyber bureau of Nepal Police arrested Sabin Raj Mishra of Tanahu on Friday. Mishra has been charged of making a fake facebook ID of a 13-year-old girl of Bhanu municipality in Tanahu district, and sending indecent pictures and messages to her relatives, according to spokesperson of the bureau SSP Nabindra Aryal.
