Kathmandu, Feb. 5: The weather affected by the westerly low-pressure system in the country will improve from this night.
The westerly low-pressure system will subside in the night, resulting in clear weather on Sunday, according to meteorologist Pratibha Manandhar. "The weather will improve for two days from Sunday and the new weather system is to follow on Wednesday or Thursday," she forecast.
Province-1, Madhes Province and Bagmati Province will have general weather change this night, while the hilly areas of other provinces will see partial weather change.
The southern plains of the country are predicted to have clear weather, the Weather Forecasting Division said.
The latest weather report recorded minimum temperatures at 4.80 and 9.30 Celsius in the Kathmandu Valley.
