Solukhumbu, Nov 2: Three French nationals who arrived here to climb the Khangteka peak at the Khumbu region in the district have gone missing for six days.
Deputy Superintendent of Police at District Police Office Kahit Katwal informed that the French nationals gone missing are Thomas, Gabiral and Luis.
They had embarked on the expedition in a group of eight via Holiday Himalaya Treks and Expedition Pvt on October 4. The three French went out of contact on October 26.
Search for them is underway, Katwal added, saying Kailash Air was requested for a chopper for the search of the missing.
However, five others from the same team came into contact.
