Malangwa, Dec. 31: Prohibitory order imposed at Bayalbas bazaar of Ishworpur municipality in Sarlahi district continues for the fourth day today.
The prohibitory order was imposed at the area from December 28 after a clash took place between locals and police personnel when a businessman, Ram Kumar Mahato, died after a police van hit him.
Although a six-point agreement including providing one million rupees compensation to the deceased family was reached, the District Administration Office issued the prohibitory order for the third time.
CDO Thaneshwor Gautam said that the prohibitory order was extended in order to maintain peace and security.
The District Administration Office on Thursday extended the prohibitory order implementation from Thursday evening to 7:00 pm today. A high-level probe committee has already been formed to carry out an investigation into the Ishworpur incident.
