Pokhara, Dec 9 : The Paschimanchal Hotel Association (PHA) Pokhara has launched a four-day 'Visit Pokhara Campaign' in a bid to revive tourism marred by ongoing global Covid-19 pandemic.
This campaign taking place from today aims to revive and promote domestic tourism, said President of the PHA, Pokhara, Bikal Tulachan.
The campaign covering main tourist destinations, Janakpur, Parsa, Birgunj, Biratnagar and Chitwan would organise press conferences and interactions with concerned authorities of province, governmental and non-governmental agencies at local level and tourism entrepreneurs, it is said.
On the first day in Birgunj, interactions with local government, journalists and tourism entrepreneurs would be organised, said the organiser.
Hotel and tourism entrepreneurs, representatives of the Nepal Tourism Board and journalists would participate in the campaign. The PHA, Pokhara has been launching the campaign for the past 18 years.
