Kathmandu, Oct. 2: Ticket for tourist buses can now be booked online. Tourist Bus Association of Nepal (TBAN) has signed agreement with Electronics Concern and Research Centre (ECRC) Pvt Ltd with an objective of selling bus tickets online.
TBAN Chair Ishwor Sharma and ECRC Chair Sanjit Poudel signed the agreement in this regard today. With the agreement, tickets of all tourist buses under the TBAN could be booked online.
TBAN Chair Sharma said that they have initiated online ticket booking to reach the foreign and domestic tourists to their destinations safely by following health safety criteria during COVID-19 pandemic.
He shared, “All tourist buses under TBAN have been providing their services as per the health protocols implemented by World Health Organisation and Health Ministry.”
Some 100 buses under TBAN have now been providing their services in Pokhara, Chitwan, Lumbini and Janakpur from Kathmandu.
A tourist bus entrepreneur Shishir Khanal said that they have been facing parking problem in lack of a separate bus park for the tourist buses
