Kathmandu, July 3: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that Nepal Students Union should expand its organization up to school level in villages.
At a blood donation programme organized by NSU central committee today on the occasion of 96th birth anniversary of NC’s former president and Prime Minister, Girija Prasad Koirala, President Deuba stressed that the NSU leaders should reach the districts and villages and build organization.
He shared, “The NSU leaders should involve to build its organization at districts, villages, campuses and schools rather than reaching door steps of leaders in Kathmandu.”
The NC President opined that a trend has now developed in the NSU of reaching the door steps of leaders rather than involving to build its organization.
Similarly, NSU President Rajeev Dhungana blamed the government of being failure to provide relief to students facing problems due to COVID-19 pandemic and putting the people in trouble by increasing the price of petroleum products during lockdown.
Likewise, NSU general secretary Deepak Bhattarai said that the NSU would expand its organisation up to villages. More than 70 students had donated blood on the occasion.
