Nepalgunj, Aug. 24: A person under custody of the District Police Office and in isolation for being infected with Corona Virus has escaped from the isolation centre. The person was in custody pending a case of drug abuse.
The person escaped from the isolation centre in the Agriculture Training Centre of Khajurakhurda, Banke, according to Chief of the Office, SP Om Bahadur Rana. He had been taken to the centre on August 20 after testing positive to the deadly virus.
Meanwhile, a search has been launched to find the person, while the security personnel in duty of the infected youth have been recalled for necessary investigation. Five police personnel led by assistant sub-inspector of police were on duty at the isolation centre.
