Kathmandu, Oct. 19: The task of laying foundation stone for building hospitals in all local levels across the country at once will take place on November 30.
The government in the current fiscal year’s budget has announced to construct five to 15 beds hospitals in all local levels in the country.
The Ministry of Health and Population has sent the design of those hospitals that materialize the government plan. However, some local levels have prepared the design on their own context.
A meeting between Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel and Health Minister Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal along with the ministry’ officials took such decision on Sunday in regard to coordinate for the prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19.
The Finance Ministry said that needed budget has also been provided for the development of health infrastructures as per the government policy to ensure citizens’ access to basic health care services.
