Kathmandu, Dec 29: Senior leader of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Prachanda-Nepal faction, Jhalnath Khanal has argued that the incumbent government was working to destabilize the country.
“Dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) was the evidence of the same,” Khanal said.
Speaking in a protest programme organized by the party at Exhibition Road here in the capital today, leader Khanal, also the former Prime Minister, opined to reinstate the parliament as it was dissolved unconstitutionally to create a vacuum for instability.
He also argued that the restoration of the parliament could try to correct the derailing situation due to parliament dissolution.
Leader Khanal said that the incumbent government led by KP Sharma Oli failed to lead the nation towards development and prosperity.
