Kathmandu, March 8: CPN (Unified Socialist) has scheduled a meeting of its Central Working Committee on March 9-10 in Kathmandu.
According to party leader Dilu Pant, the meeting will hold policy-level discussions in view of upcoming elections as the party seeks to secure its successful presence through the polls. More, it will discuss other several issues including the contemporary political developments, party organisational expansion efforts and the effective operation of sister organisations.
Party Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal will present a political report highlighting the existing party organisational status, the causes to endorse the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact and the latest political developments in the country.
Besides, the meeting is expected to discuss ways for continuing with the existing political alliance till the upcoming elections. The politburo meeting on Monday finalised the agenda of the CWC meeting.
