Doti, Nov. 22: All schools of Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality in Doti district have reopened from Sunday. The academic institutions there were closed for the past eight months due to coronavirus outbreak.
Private and government schools started the classes from today as per the decision of Education Committee of the municipality and school management committees, shared Govinda Raj Joshi, a teacher of Dilpeshwor Secondary School.
Joshi added, "We have resumed the teaching-learning activities from today by following health protocol and maintaining social distance to remain safe from the virus."
According to Municipal Education Section, the schools and colleges have been sent a circular to this end.
Chairperson of Amarjyoti School Management Committee Dhan Bahadur Shahi said that they have adopted all safety precautions in the school to safeguard the students from coronavirus.
The schools are allowed to resume their classes after adopting health protocols after the government gave permission to run schools with the purpose not to lose a one academic year.
