NC reschedules party convention in 16 districts for January 29   

The Nepali Congress (NC) has rescheduled the district-level convention in remaining 16 districts for upcoming January 29.    

Meeting of Council of Ministers today at 1:30 pm

The meeting of the Council of Ministers is going to be held at 1:30 pm today. Spokesperson and Joint Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister Krishna Bahadur Raut informed The TRN Online that the meeting will be held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

BIMSTEC Secretary General in Nepal on a 4-day visit

DRI files cases against accused in Baluwatar land scam

The Department of Revenue Investigation (DRI) has filed a case against the accused of the Lalita Niwas land scam at the Patan High Court, Lalitpur, on Tuesday. The case is filed against Shova Kanta Dhakal, Saroj Dhakal, Uma Kumari Dhakal, Santu Shrestha and Rajeswor Shrestha. The Dhakals and Santu are the proprietors of the Ansan International Pvt. Hospitals see surge in flow of cold-related patients

Flow of patients in hospitals of Bhairahawa has increased due to the sharp fall in temperature. NC names its candidates for NA election from six provinces

According to Krishna Prasad Paudel, principal secretary of the NC central office, informed through a press note that the central committee meeting decided to field Gopal Kumar Basnet from Province 1, Krishna Prasad Paudel from Bagmati province, Kamala Panta from Gandaki province, Durga Kumari Gurung from Karnali province, Yuvaraj Sharma from Lumbini province and Narayan Mishra from Sudurpaschim province in the election for the NA members.

Number of programmes in project bank increases

The number of development programmes in the National Project Bank has climbed to 7,128 by the end of 2021 from 6,512 projects in February that year. The project bank managed by the National Planning Commission (NPC) has ranked 5,790 projects as ongoing while 1,338 are future projects.
