By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 2: As many as 213 people have been found infected with the novel coronavirus in the PCR test of the swab samples of 5,962 people in the last 24 hours.
Similarly, three persons have tested positive for the virus in the antigen tests of 1,669 people, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Meanwhile, 209 people got over the virus that causes COVID-19 in the same period.
Two persons succumbed to the virus infection in the period and that the national COVID-19 death tally has reached 11,596.
There are 4971 active cases of COVID-19 across the country to date.
