Kathmandu, Jan 3: A meeting of the Central Committee of the CPN (Maoist Centre) is being held on Monday. The first meeting of the newly elected Central Committee will be held at 3 pm today, said Shri Ram Dhakal, Central Office Secretary of the CPN (Maoist Centre).
According to him, the meeting will select the office-bearers. In the closed session of the eighth general convention, party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' had announced the 236-member central committee on Sunday. After that, the election committee had approved the names announced by Chairman Prachanda.
