Revenue Investigation Office destroys 72tn inedible sugar

On the basis of the FTQCO’s declaration, the Department of Revenue Investigation sent a letter to the RIO on March 19, giving it permission to destroy the sugar, said Tanka Pandey, Chief Investigation Officer at the department’s Pathalaiya office. Accordingly, the RIO destroyed the sugar, worth Rs. 6 million, by burying it on Monday evening.

Chinese lab says uranium seized in Nepal is genuine

Chief of the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police SSP Ashok Singh said that the Chinese laboratory reported that the recovered item was raw uranium-238. Police had first examined the object at the National Forensic Science Laboratory (NAST). NAST said the item could be a raw material for uranium.

Country's GDP projected to increase by 2.7 per cent in next Fiscal Year

With the smoke emanating from forest fires covering the atmosphere, other pollutants are mixing and pushing the rate of air pollution higher in Nepal and other countries. Forest fires are more intense in Asia and Central Asia than in any other countries in Europe and the North American countries.
