Karnali, Apr. 6: The CPN UML has quit the Karnali Province government led by CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi.
Three UML leaders formally left the government by tendering resignation as per decision of Karnali Province parliamentary party meeting.
Those to submit resignation to the Chief Minister Shahi are Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Prakash Jwala; Minister for Social Development, Dal Rawal, and Minister for Industry, Tourism, forest and Environment, Nanda Sing Budha.
Now, there are only three members in the Province government including CM Shahi. After Minister for Physical Infrastructure Khadga Bahadur Khatri resigned from the post, CM Shahi himself had taken over the responsibility for a year.
