71% people in Humla receive COVID-19 vaccines

Around 71 per cent of people have received vaccine against COVID-19 in Humla district. One month earlier, the figure was 49 per cent.
Most of the people get vaccinated after the vaccination card was made mandatory for the service providing public offices. According to Prem Bahadur Singh, chief at the Health Service Office, a total of 41,000 people are to be vaccinated in the district. Among them, 29,266 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
