KMC provides Rs. 40m grant for construction of children’s hospital

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has provided a financial grant of Rs. 40 million for the construction of a children’s hospital at Budhanilkantha. The KMC has signed an agreement with the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health on Thursday to provide the grant for the construction of a modern hospital with specialists.

Nepal on Wednesday received 1.2 million doses of Vero Cell vaccine purchased through the COVAX’s cost-sharing mechanism. “A cargo flight of China South Airlines carrying 1.2 million doses of Vero Cell vaccine has landed at Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday morning,” said Badebabu Thapa, a senior official at the Logistic Management Section under the Department of Health Services.
