Blinc to organise women leadership conference

Blinc Ventures, a platform for social entrepreneurs, is organising a two-day women leadership conference on November 20 and 21. Issuing a press release, Blinc informed that the conference was meant for professional women to identify and overcome social and personal bias to achieve their optimum potential. It informed that the conference would also support companies to learn and share ways to retain and nurture women employees. 

Parliament session prorogued   

President Bidya Devi Bhandari has prorogued the current session of both the Houses of the Federal Parliament from last midnight.     President Bhandari prorogued the parliament session on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers and in accordance with Article 93 (2) of the Constitution, according to the Office of the President.

Traffic Division hands over 23 recovered bikes

The Metropolitan Traffic Police Division, Ramshahpath, Friday handed over 23 stolen two-wheelers recovered from various places inside Kathmandu Valley, their owners. The vehicles handed over included 15 motorcycles and eight scooters.

Army clearing landslides of Sulichaur-Pyuthan road section

A team of the Nepali Army has begun works to reopen the Sulichaur-Aresh-Pyuthan road section that had been blocked due to landslides for the past one year.
