Govt revises budget to Rs 1344.6 bn

The Ministry of Finance has adjusted the estimation of income and expenditure for the current fiscal year 2020/21. Inflation down to 3.56 % from 6.82%

The consumer price inflation stood at 3.56 per cent in the first sixth month (mid-January) of the current fiscal year 2020/21 compared to 6.82 per cent a year ago. Food and beverage inflation stood at 4.27 per cent whereas non-food and service inflation stood at 2.99 per cent during the review period, according to the macroeconomic and financial report published by Nepal Rastra Bank on Monday.
