Officials at the Ministry of Health and Population have informed that they are planning ways to ensure availability of necessary health equipment and medicines across the country after several roads and bridges have been wrecked by the recent floods and landslides.

Meteorologists have said that the monsoon rain which diminished in the last two days is likely to recur.  According to Meteorologist Manju Basi for Weather Forecast Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the monsoon rain is expected to intensify on Sunday and Monday.  "There is a possibility of downpour in some places in the next two days," she said.

Body of missing Parajuli found

A body of one of the two missing persons has been found in a landslide near the Ata River of Tipling in Rubi Valley Rural Municipality-2, Dhading. Body of Raju Parajuli, 23, of Sindhupalchowk, was found on Saturday, said Pemba Ghale, Ward Chairman of Rubi Valley Rural Municipality of ward No. 2. Another one is still missing.
