Poisonous food causes deaths of three rhinos in CNP

The preliminary report shows that a rhino which was found dead last Saturday at Seheri, East Nawalparasi had died as the animal happened to consume toxic food. According to CNP senior veterinary doctor Dr Bijay Shrestha, a rhino had succumbed to poisonous food at Tamaspur area last week, which was preceded by the one death at Ganjipur area a month ago.  

Cold, flu hit patients in Bharatpur Hospital to be treated separately 

The Chitwan-based Bharatpur Hospital has allocated a separate space for purchasing tickets and health examination for the patients visiting with common cold and fever.     The move was made as a preventive measure against the infection of corona virus, according Chief of Medical Superintendent, Dr Shreeram Tiwari.

Two killed, nine injured in accident

Two people died while nine others were injured in two separate road accidents that took place in the district on Saturday.     A man of around 30 years old died when a motorcycle (Na. 39 Pa. 1924) was hit by a passenger bus (Ba. 4 Kha. 9509) coming from the opposite direction in Tarkari chowk of Ratnanagar municipality-3 last night. The deceased is yet to be identified, police said. The bus driver has been taken into custody for necessary action.    

Three killed in separate road accidents  

Three people have died and one injured in separate road accidents that took place in Sarlahi. Two people died when a motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle at Mohan chowk in ward no. 7 of Gaudaita municipality.    

Two school bus set on fire   

Two school bus parked inside the premises of the Zenith International School in Piple of Hetauda sub-metropolis-5 were set ablaze last night. Locals saw the buses with registration number Na. 7 Kha. 8728 and Na. 1 Ka. 3218 on fire and informed police.

NCP rural municipality committee chair thrashed

According to Dadeldhura District Committee of the NCP, he was kidnapped while he was on the way to attending rural municipality ward meeting.
